Powerful governments and corporations are actively blocking a funded, fair, fast, and full fossil fuel phaseout. To avert climate catastrophe, we must overcome obstacles to a phaseout from fossil fuel, utility, finance, and technology companies cashing in on the rapid growth of AI data centers. Speakers: Speakers will include grassroots leaders from across the Global North and South. This interactive session will advance strategies to address harms of fossil fuel infrastructure and AI data centers, make polluters pay, and ensure a to a clean, renewable, and democratic energy economy.
